India beat Bangladesh by inning and 208 runs for their six series wins in a row.

India defeated Bangladesh by  an inning and 208 runs to clinch the one-off test series in Hyderabad. Aswini and Jadeja claimed 4 wickets each to terminate the Bangla team minutes before the tea break on the ultimate day.

 

Ishant Sharma bagged the rest two through his outstanding spell in the post lunch session.

 

 Mushfiqur’s  team could scored only 250 runs against the target of 459. But the fledgling test side exhibited tremendous bravery to stand against the top test power of Virat Kohli for nearly three whole sessions in day 4 and day 5.

 

Virat Kohli was adjudged man of the match for his 204 in the first innings that saw his team’s score board read 687 for 6.

 

This was Kohli’s 6 series win a row. His undefeated streak in test matches is now 20.

 

The Hyderabad pitch even after 360 overs on it was too intact to favor the batters when Virat Kohli took the field with his troop on the 5th day to remove the remaining 7 wickets of Bangladesh for another series victory. Jadeja eliminated Shakib for 22 early when his team score was 106.Mushfiqur joined Mahmmudullah and the duo negotiated the Indian attack for nearly an hour till the former lost his temper and lost his wicket to Aswin.

 

After that Bangladeshi batters showed grit to survive but to carry though the entire day was really a big ask from them. Mahamuddulah scored 64.
