Bhubaneswar (20 Oct) :The weather forecast today brings no respite for Odisha from the wet. In the next 24 hours most of the parts in Odisha will be raining.
The coastal Odisha would have to stay prepared to experience heavy to very heavy rain fall in the next 24 hours, while for the interior Odisha it is going to be heavy rainfall.
The IMD mentions that the depression over coastal Odisha moved northward and lay centered at 0530 hrs IST of today over coastal Odisha about 25Kms west of Chandbali.
The system would move nearly northwards for some time and then north-northeastwards and weaken gradually into a well marked low pressure area during next 24 hrs, notes the met- department
It predicts, wind gustings upto 65kmph along the Odisha Coast in the next 12hours that is likely to slow down to 50kmph during the subsequent 12 hrs.
Sea condition would be rough to very rough along & off Odisha and West Bengal coasts during next 12 hours. It will be and rough along & off north Odisha and West Bengal coasts during subsequent 12 hours.
Fishermen along & off north Odisha and West Bengal coasts are advised not to venture into sea during next 24 hrs and along & off south Odisha coast during next 12 hrs, warns the met department.
