Amit Shah’s visit to Odisha has always been considered as a significant political event in Odisha since BJP has brought this eastern state under its radar.
In the Tripura poll victory speech on the 3rd of this month Mr Saha had categorically mentioned the name of Odisha as his party’s target state.
Western Odisha being the strong hold of BJP as reflected in the poll performance of the party in the last rural elections and the 2014 general election Saha’s programmes on this front is strategically important.
Besides on the backdrop of BJP’s upset in the Bijepur by-poll last month the party workers would like their President the most to look up to for motivation for the big fight next year.
During his two last programmes in odisha, particularly the one during the run up to the Panchayat elections in 2017 Shah had charged up his workers against the incumbent Naveen government in Odisha following which the political conditions in Odisha has turned hot.
