President Kovind, Prime Minister Modi greet people on the occasion of Rath Yatra

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted the people on the occasion of Rath Yatra as he wished blessings of Lord Jagannath with good health and happiness for them. He has shared a clipping from his recent Man Ki Baat episode.

“Greetings on the special day of Rath Yatra. We pray to Lord Jagannath for his constant blessings. May we all be blessed with good health and happiness.

Rath Yatra is an annual trip of Lord Jagannath with his siblings to the house his maternal aunt. It is the day when lord Jagannath comes out to his devotees on the Grand road. Jagannath Dham puri witnesses gathering of lakhs of devotees participating in the journey, a reflection of socio-cultural-spiritual life of Odisha.

President Of India Ramnath Kovind,and  Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu have extended their greetings to the people on the occasion.
