Dharmendra Pradhan calls for preparing the students as entrepreneurs of the future.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the students now should be grown as entrepreneurs for future challenges and opportunities. Higher Educational institutes must bring about speedy changes, said Mr. Pradhan. “Age of incremental changes is gone.”

The Modi government has been advocating for an employment-worthy education system through the National Education Policy 2020. Complying with it, the Union Minister calls for making Entrepreneurs -the job givers rather than job seekers.

Mr. Pradhan showed confidence in India’s tested technology prowess and hoped it could make a future-ready workforce fit in the changes arising from the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

The Union Education Minister made these remarks during his speech at the visitor’s conference in New Delhi. The two-day Conference of Vice-Chancellors of Central Universities and Directors of Institutions of National Importance concluded on June 8. The President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the conference on  7 June 2022.

In the concluding speech, Mr. Pradhan also highlighted Digital education, decolonisation of Indian Education, and Internationalisation of Indian Education.
