BJP had taken to the field for its successive third term, carrying the burden of 10 years of anti-incumbency. On the other hand, congress fought the election on the plank of Jatt- jawan- pahilwan.
There are reports of massive infight in the Congress with former Chief Minister Bhupendar Singh Hooda, Kumari Sailja, and Randeep Surjewala being parties. Yet the survey predictions show Congress has successfully managed the challenge.
BJP removed Manohar Lal Khattar from the Chief Minister post and brought about a big change in the Cabinet just six months before the election to counter the anti-incumbency.
As the survey reports going in Congress’ favor, a happy hooda has thanked the people of Haryana. He said that the people of Haryana had made up their minds well before the elections to change the corrupt BJP government.
Despite the adverse survey reports for BJP the party leaders claim to retain power in Haryana for the third five-year term in a row. Counter-polorization against the Jatts is their source of hope.
