Odisha government and TiE Silicon Valley have come together to develop favourable conditions in the state for budding entrepreneurs as Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik is looking forward to get Odisha in top three start-up states in the country.
The state government is going to bring a start up policy in the next two to three months. Ti E Silicon the US based organization will help the state government in formulating the policy.
A 13 -member delegation of TiE Silicon Valley has met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik on Monday in this regard. Prior to it TiE Silicon and the Ipicol (Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited) had a one –of- its -kind agreement that the Chief Minister has rested big hope on.
“I am happy to note that Ipicol (Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited) & TiE Silicon Valley @tiesv have a one-of-its-kind agreement to foster the growth of start-ups in the state. Met delegation from Tie Silicon Valley. Hope fruitful partnership leads Odisha into top-3 start-up states in India,” Tweeted Naveen Pattnaik after the meeting.
TiE Silicon Valley has already suggested a start-up policy to the state government.
