
The Odisha government announced lock-down in the remaining 16 districts, as the numbers COVID-19 cases across the country are increasing rapidly. The announcement came after a fresh revision today. Yesterday, the government had added nine districts to the list of lock-down districts to make it 14.
With this order, all the thirty districts in Odisha will undergo lock-down till March 29.
As of Tuesday, the COVID-19 cases in Odisha count two, informed the Subrat Bagchi, COVID-19 spokesperson of the Odisha Government.
The government is gradually tightening the regulations to ensure an effective social distancing- the inevitable method to check the transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
