PM MODI HITS OUT AT CONGRESS ON SAM PITRODA’S STATEMENT QUESTIONING BALAKOT AIR STRIKE.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hit out at the Congress and opposition and called the people of India not to “forget and forgive the opposition for their antics,” after Sam Pitroda sought data on the Balakot air strike.

He said the opposition is the “natural habitat of terrorist apologists” and it questions the Indian armed forces. They insult our armed forces time and again, said the PM on his twitter platform.

Congress was unwilling to respond to the forces of terror, the PM said as he added, “this is new India –we will answer the terrorists in a language they understand and with interest.”

Sam Pitroda, known as the mentor of Rahul Gandhi and the Overseas Congress chief, had asked about the number of causalities caused by the air strike by the Indian Air Force on Balakot in response to Pulwama terror attack.

He asked, as reported by ANI, “if the Air Force has killed 300, can you give me more facts to prove it?”

He said “Don’t know much about attacks. It happens all the time. The attack happened in Mumbai also, we could have then reacted and just sent our planes but that is not right approach. According to me, that’s not how you deal with the world,”
