On Tuesday Amit Shah reconstituted the Parliamentary Board and Central Election Committee sans the BJP’s patriarch trinity Vajpayee-Advani-Joshi. Amit Shah the party president will be in the board as its head.PM Narendra Modi is the biggest name in the board while the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and General Secretary JP Nadda are the new names there. Shah’s predecessor Rajnath Singh obviously is into the Board along with the unchallenged figures like Arun Jitley, Sushma Swaraj, and the former party presidents Venakiah Naidu and Nitin Gadkari. Anath Kumar, Thavarchand Ghelot and Ramlala are the other three to complete the 12 member Parliamentary Board.
Shiivraj singh Chouhan the MP Chief Minister and JP Nadda found place in the Central Election Committee also. However, all the members of the powerful Parliament Board are in the Central Election Committee. Jual Oram and Sahanawaj Hussain are the tribal and minority representatives respectively in the 15 member committee. The incumbent Mahila Morcha President Vijay Rohatkar will replace Saroj Pandey as the ex-officio member of the committee.
